Gone will be the days of having to drive to Pearland for simple things like groceries; because the Manvel, Texas growth is here to stay. The city is underway in building a 150-acre city center complex that will provide retail, entertainment, hospitality, medical, and office spaces. Anticipation is high for the city to get its first H-E-B in the Manvel Town Center, along with City Hall, walking trails, and sporting facilities. Designed to incorporate more than 1 million square feet of businesses, activities, and entertainment, the center is expected not only to be the new hub for the Manvel community but to become a destination for those outside the city as well.

A city center complex will not happen overnight, and neither did the planning for such a huge undertaking for the city of Manvel, Texas.
