Headway is taking place on the development of the Manvel Town Center that will serve as the centerpiece to both the commercial market and the community of Manvel. Gone will be the days of having to drive to Pearland for simple things like groceries; because the Manvel, Texas growth is here to stay. The city is underway in building a major city center complex that will provide retail, entertainment, hospitality, medical, and office spaces. The highly anticipated H-E-B anchor store opened this October, and with more stores on the way, it is expected not only to be the new hub for the Manvel community, but to become a destination for those outside the city as well.

A city center complex will not happen overnight, and neither did the planning for such a huge undertaking for the city of Manvel, Texas. Key players H-E-B and Weitzman held a groundbreaking ceremony on June 22, 2021, for the initial phase of Manvel Town Center.
